What a difference a day makes

I was up at 4:15 this morning ready to rock and roll.  I had to tutor this morning so I had to get up even earlier than normal.  After two cups of coffee, overnight oats, a thunderstorm, some local news, and walking the dogs I was out the door to the gym.  From the time I hopped out of bed I knew I was going to have a great workout.

Once I got to the gym I did the following workout and got my heart rate way up there.

Back Workout

  • 4 sets of dumbbell shrugs (25lbs x 15, 30lbs x15, 35lbs x 12, 25lbs x 15)
  • 4 sets of power strength lat pulldowns (90lbs x 10)
Superset (3):
 -Lat pulldowns (70lbs x 10)
 -Bent over lat pulldowns (70lbs x 10)

  • 3 sets of seated rows (70lbs x 12)
  • 3 sets of back extensions with 25lb plate
  • 3 sets of bent over dumbbell rows (30lb dumbbells x 10)
I love getting a good pump to start my day off right!  I still don't know how to pose correctly, so I make Rich take 20 pictures so I can compare my progress.  The gym lighting in terrible and I need a serious tan!
