Not what I expected

I was thinking that a quick diagnosis of Piriformis Syndrome or some other sort of sciatic nerve issue was going to happen at the orthopedist.  Two hours and several x-rays later the diagnosis was "probable stress fractures."  Since nothing specific showed up on the x-rays I am going back on Friday for a bone scan of my hips/pelvis and lower legs.  The last bone scan I had about 10 years ago showed several stress fractures so I am not excited about doing this again.  I have to be there 3 hours ahead of time to get the injection and then wait around to get strapped down and shoved into the lovely claustrophobic tube.  Can not wait.
